EcoPost recycles plastic waste to manufacture into eco-friendly plastic lumber, creating sustainable jobs for people in marginalised communities whilst conserving the environment by eliminating deforestation. It was such a joy to get to know Lorna Rutto and tell the story of her sustainable business and its positive impact.

Makmende Media asked me to be a creative for the Cartier Women’s Initiative in 2021, 2022 and 2023, to create portraits of the inspiring selected female entrepreneurs from all over the world. For these films I did the research calls, script writing and managed the editing for films about the Awardees from Kenya, Egypt, Bulgaria, Armenia, Nigeria, Australia, Denmark, Spain, Saudi Arabia, China and the Philippines. Making sure in each step that the film portrayed the Awardees unique story in a compact and compelling way, whilst fitting with the overall style of the CWI program.
