In Between

In In Between refugees share their stories, standing in between the fears of people on either side of political polarisation within society. For this documentary, I interviewed several newcomers (mainly from Syria) about their experience, as well as Dutch citizens who identify with “left” and “right” wing politics. How are their fears projected onto the people arriving in the Netherlands?

This documentary was presented at the SIETAR Europa Virtual Institute where I was invited to join a panel discussion on anti-racism, inclusion and intersectionality, to discuss the opportunities of artistic research and storytelling to move towards a more inclusive future.
